Improving Affordable Care Act

Sue from Kirkwood writes:

The ACA is a start, but it is deeply flawed. If you feel the same, what changes would you make to improve it? Do you favor a single-payer health care system, similar to Medicare? If so, how would we pay for it?

Response from Arthur

Sues’s question was asked prior to conflicting federal appeal court rulings regarding whether the I.R.S. went too far in extending subsidies to those who buy insurance through the federally run exchange, known as HealthCare.gov.  Clearly the intent of the law is for those who sign-up through the federal exchange to have the same rights as those who sign-up through state exchanges. Minimal rewording of the law would help considerably. I would vote for that; I don’t think that Ann Wagner would.

  1. Thanks for another informative blog. The place else may I am getting that type of information written in such a perfect manner? I have a venture that I’m just now running on, and I have been on the glance out for such information.
